Nashville, TN (February 13, 2017) The Gospel Greats announced that the Old Time Preachers Quartet will be the featured artist on their program for the weekend of March 4. Paul Heil will highlight the group’s debut album, The Old Time Way. Fans will also enjoy tuning in as he interviews the members of the quartet, including 8-time Singing News Fan Award winner Mike Holcomb and longtime Gospel music stalwart Les Butler.
Southern Gospel has not often seen a group come on the scene and achieve such an overwhelming response from radio, promoters, and fans like the Old Time Preachers Quartet has. Since their launch in early of 2016, they have already achieved their first Top 40 Singing News hit song with “The Old Time Way.” The song also resonated on the internet. with the accompanying music video being viewed by over 100,000 people in its first twenty-four hours.
The Old Time Preachers Quartet is preparing to take their ministry to Florida starting in March for an extended series of concerts, including stops at WJGM in Jacksonville for their share-a-thon. The quartet will also appear in Lakeland, Winter Haven, and other cities while in Florida. These stops kicks off their 2017 tour that will take them to the Bluegate Theater, one of Southern Gospel’s premier events, and to Shadow Valley to appear on the lineup with the Kingsmen, Chuck Wagon Gang, and more. The quartet recently learned they will make their debut mainstage appearance at the National Quartet Convention in September.
The Old Time Preachers Quartet has recently released their second single off of their debut album, “Wavin’ This World Goodbye.” Their single will be featured on their episode of the Gospel Greats.
