Nashville, TN (August 31, 2018) Sacred Harmony is not your typical Southern Gospel group. Their music has it’s own unique sound that comes from blending numerous genres including Southern Gospel, Contemporary Christian, Black Gospel and country which has resulted in invitations to sing at venues and events not standard for Southern Gospel artists. Recently, Sacred Harmony was invited to sing in Mount Vernon, Indiana for an outside community event at the amphitheater hosted by the United Church of Christ. “We had a great time. It’s always a wonderful opportunity to sing to people who may not normally go to a church,” stated Janet Weaver.
The following morning, Sacred Harmony sang at the United Church of Christ for Pastor Jamie Kent. Later that day they appeared at the Point Township Church of the Nazarene. “We are looking forward to going back next year. They are working with several churches in town to partner together to present the message of Christ to their community,” added Brian Scott.
Sacred Harmony recently appeared on the Singing News Top 80 chart with “Jesus did what He came to do.” “I get excited when I see a group like Sacred Harmony helping to attract new fans to Southern Gospel. They have a great sound that reaches a whole new crowd,” added Les Butler.
