Nashville, TN (August 4, 2021) Nominees for the 32nd Annual IBMA Bluegrass Music Awards were announced on July 20th and Family Music Group artist, Mark Wheeler, of the Marksmen Quartet, received two nominations for the song he penned, “In the Resurrection Morning.”  The song was nominated for Gospel Recording of the Year and Collaborative Recording of the Year.  

The recording, features Doyle Lawson, Vince Gill, Barry Abernathy, Tim Stafford, Mark Wheeler, Jim VanCleve, Phil Leadbetter, and Jason Moore (also known as Sacred Reunion).  The song was produced by, Barry Abernathy, and Jim VanCleve.    

Les Butler, president of Family Music Group stated, "When I first heard this song, I thought this might happen.  From the onset, it was obvious that this was a special song that came from deep within the heart of Mark Wheeler.  We all miss our friend, Steve Gulley, but we will be together one day soon, in the resurrection morning!"  

Results of the balloting will be revealed at the IBMA Bluegrass Music Awards on Thursday, September 30, at the Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts in Raleigh, North Carolina.  

Awards are voted on by the professional membership of the International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA), the professional nonprofit association for the bluegrass music industry.
